LSO Distributed Ramadan Food Package During The Month of Ramadan 2022

[March to May 2022] LSO had implemented the 2022 Ramadan Feed the Fasting in Cambodia. The LSO team and relevant stakeholders had tried hard, and with the blessing of Allah swt, we could achieve this project effectively and could help the poor Muslim family in the holy month of Ramadan.

A vast portion of Muslims in Cambodia lacked enough healthy food to break the fast and eat Sehri during the month of Ramadan. We were standing beside 1,012 families with the food items of their choice or need.

We had implemented this project in 6 cities/provinces such as Phnom Penh city, Kampong Chhnang, Tboung Khmum, Kandal, Kampong Speu, and Banteay Meanchey provinces. We distributed 1,012 Ramadan Food Vouchers topoor Muslimr families. The selected beneficiaries chose the Set of food items that they need during the conduct of the baseline survey. Then they received the Vouchers and redeemed them for Ramadan Food Packages. The beneficiaries were selected according to the selection criteria in collaboration with local authorities. As a result, the project could help about 5,242 Muslim people (direct and indirect).
